A private individual made it possible for us to work together in a very pleasant way, as a conversion or renovation always brings a certain amount of stress. Due to our serious and professional execution, they could always sit back and enjoy the result afterwards.
Le Landeron
The historic town of Le Landeron is located at the southern foot of the Jura, on the banks of the Zihl Canal and Lake Biel. The old town was built in the once swampy Seeland between arms of the then multi-armed meandering Zihl on a sandy island, a round sandy soil [sur des Landes rondes], as Hans Jacob Leu wrote in the oldest Swiss encyclopedia partly folk etymologically. Effectively, the name goes back to Gallo-Roman *landa “flat fallow land” (cf. French lande), supplemented by the suffix -erōne.[5] While the city lies on the plain of the Zihl, the new quarters with the station of the Biel – Neuchâtel line extend towards the north.
